In de fotoserie “Kitchen Species” worden de micro- en macrokosmos op een bijzondere wijze met elkaar in contact gebracht.
De foto’s van de in water oplossende kruiden en specerijen zoals saffraan, oregano, dille, peper, zout etc. lijken welhaast op telescopische beelden uit de exotische wereld van planeten, kometen, zwarte gaten en sterrenstelsels.
Een speciale verlichting met gepolariseerde flitslicht zorgt ervoor dat we een kijkje kunnen nemen in de keuken van de “kosmische oersoep”.
Het stevig roeren met licht-golfdeeltjes in deze oersoep van keukenkruiden resulteerde in een tiental smaakvolle visuele gerechten.

A special illumination with polarized flash ensures that we can take a look into the kitchen of the “cosmic primordial soup”.
Vigorous stirring with light-wave particles in this soup of herbs resulted in a dozen flavorful visual dishes.
